The Town of Montague will hold a Special Town Meeting on Tuesday, October 13 beginning at 6:30pm. Although state DPH data show that Montague continues to maintain a "lower risk" status relative to COVID-19, this Special Town Meeting will be managed with the highest possible level of attention to transmission concerns.
The meeting will be held in the garage vehicle storage area of the new DPW Building at 128 Turners Falls Road. This facility features a nearly 17,000 ft2 open area flanked by several large garage doors that will be left open for ventilation, which will also make use of the facilities new ehaust venting system. The space will be made comfortable by radiant heat that is inset in the floors of the bay.
