INVITATION FOR BIDS
MONTAGUE CLEAN WATER FACILITY
USED GENERATOR INSTALLATION PROJECT FRCOG IFB 2023-2067
The Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG), on behalf of the Town of Montague, will accept sealed bids from DCAMM certified contractors in the category “Electrical” for installation only of a Used Generator at the Clean Water Facility.
The sealed bids, plainly marked "IFB 2023-2067 Montague WCF Generator” in the lower left hand corner of the envelope will be received by the Franklin Regional Council of Governments, 12 Olive St. Suite 2, Greenfield, MA 01301, until August 14, 2023 at 2 p.m., at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
Wage rates for this bid are subject to prevailing wage rates as per MGL Chapter 149, Section 26 - 27f inclusive. This bid is being undertaken per MGL Ch 149 requiring a 5% bid bond/deposit and 100% Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds.

There is a MANDATORY prebid meeting on August 1, 2023 at 9am at the Montague Clean Water Facility located at 34 Greenfield Road, Montague, MA.
Qualified bidders who are Minority/Women/Disabled Owned Business Enterprises (M/W/D/BE) businesses are encouraged to apply. Other qualified bidders are encouraged to partner with disadvantaged businesses. A listing of certified disadvantaged businesses can be found at http://www.mass.gov/sdo.
The Town of Montague is the awarding authority and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part as they may deem in the best public interest.
