Public notice of Significant Noncompliance-Great Falls Aquaculture LLC
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the federal regulations contained in 40 CFR 403.8.f(2)(vii) The Town of Montague Clean Water Facility (CWF) is required to publish the names of all Industrial Users (IU) of Montague's public sewer system that were determined to be in significant noncompliance (SNC) with applicable pretreatment standards or other pretreatment requirements.
NATURE OF VIOLATION – Permit exceedances of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) occurred for the period covering October 2021-May2022.
ACTION TAKEN – The CWF has issued a Notice of Violation and Compliance Order and is working closely with the IU on compliance with solids removal.
