6-Week Digital Literacy Class for Seniors and Tech Drop-in hours at Gill Montague Senior Center, 62 5th Street, Turners Falls


Tech Drop-in: Tuesdays from 12:30pm - 2:00pm at the Gill Montague Senior Center, 62 5th Street, Turners Falls.

No appointment needed! Come in with questions about your laptop computer, tablet or cell phone ... and we’ll help! Starts Tuesday, January 9, 2024, and following Tuesdays.

6-Week Digital Literacy Class: Thursdays (January 18 - February 22) from 3:30pm - 5:30pm at the Gill Montague Senior Center, 62 5th Street, Turners Falls.

Learn computer basics!

  • Set up and protect a Google Gmail account;
  • Keep in touch with friends and family;
  • Discover social media sites;
  • Protect your passwords;
  • Play fun games;… and much more!

This 6-week class is geared towards seniors who:

  • Do not have a working computer and want to learn the basics.(equipment provided)
  • Are able to attend all 6 classes.

Keep the laptop computer for your own use after completing all 6 classes!

Want to take the class? Applications are due on or before January 10th. Pick up an application at the Gill Montague Senior Center!

Program Funding: The tech drop-in and 6-week digital literarcy class is funded through the Massachusetts Office of Elder Affairs and Franklin Regional County of Governments Mass in Motion. In partnership with The Gill Montague Council on Aging, the Town of Montague, and the Programming and Web Design classes at the Franklin County Technical School.
