The Town of Montague has been selected to receive Planning Support & Feasibility Study services as part of the On-Street Charging Solutions Program from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC).
The Program is promoting wide-scale Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption across the Commonwealth by increasing access to curbside EV charging infrastructure in Massachusetts communities, with an emphasis on Low Income/Disadvantaged Communities (LIDAC). The Program is funded through federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) investment and will run from November 2024 to December 2026.
The Planning Support & Feasibility Study key objectives are:
Through conversations with the Town of Montague staff, some preliminary locations have been identified. As part of the community engagement effort, your support will be key to ensure all levels of the community are heard and their concerns are addressed. The next step is to provide information about the preliminary sites selected for the community and gather their input.
