Field work is underway in the Hill neighborhood to support stormwater drainage improvements, with testing planned for the week of January 20.
Residents of the Hill neighborhood in Turners Falls may notice workers from Fuss & O’Neill in the area this week conducting field staking in preparation for upcoming geotechnical borings.
Geotechnical borings are scheduled to take place during the week of January 20 at the locations shown on the attached map. This work is part of an ongoing effort to assess opportunities to improve stormwater drainage and reduce flooding impacts in the neighborhood.
The assessment is funded through the Commonwealth’s Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program and will help inform future planning and potential infrastructure improvements.
