If you are not qualified or interested in having a winsert in your home but would like to volunteer for a Community Build event to help make them, sign-up via: https://forms.gle/oo8iqL4GnCmPtvdw8

How It Works: Recipients will participate in building their own Winserts alongside community volunteers at a Community Build event. No experience or tools are required — everything is provided, and the process is simple and fun! This hands-on activity fosters community connections, promotes sustainability, and includes snacks!

If you have physical or other limitations, accommodations will be made. Please inform us when you apply. For questions, email: winserts@montague-ma.gov

A Note on Durability: While Winserts are built to last, the plastic film can be vulnerable to sharp objects or pet claws, which may cause tears. To prevent damage, households often choose to skip the insert on pet’s favorite windows, hang curtains over the lower section, or secure a piece of plexiglass over it.
