Submit Interest by June 12
On May 21, The Town voted to approve a debt-exclusion to allow the construction of a new Public Works Facility off Turners Falls Road. Accordingly, The Public Works Facility "Planning" Committee is in the process of transitioning into a "building" committee. The committee will be responsible for overseeing the final design and construction of the facility over the next 24 to 36 months and will also be responsible for ensuring a thoroughly transparent building process. The Selectboard intends to add up to three more members to the committee for this next phase of the project. Qualified and experienced candidates with skills in construction, administration, finance, communications, or similar are encourage to submit statements of interest to the Selectboard by Tuesday, June 12, 2018.
