Chelsey joined the Town of Montague in 2020, where her unique background in biology and environmental public health have prepared her for the challenging position of Superintendent of a Grade 6 facility. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from Southern Vermont College and obtained her Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Vermont. She also holds a MA State Grade 6C Wastewater License.
Her keen and innovative insights in the areas of wastewater treatment and biosolids management have enabled Montague CWF to emerge as a regional success story, with a sharp and qualified team in tow to maintain the standard she helped set.
In 2023, Chelsey recieved the Water Environment Federation's Hatfield Award for, "Oustanding performance and professionalism in the operation of a wastewater treatment facility."
When she isn’t busy managing the facility, Chelsey can be found spending time with her family; camping, gardening, raising chickens, and supporting her three wonderful children with their many different extracurricular activities.
Tim joined The Town of Montague in 2006, where he started as an Operator/Laborer and has moved up the ranks becoming Foreman in 2021. He currently holds a MA State Grade 5C Wastewater License.
Prior to wastewater, Tim worked at Northfield Mount Hermon, in grounds maintinance and athletic field maintinance.
While on the job, Tim enjoys working with staff on improvements to the facility equipment, process control troubleshooting, bioslids management, and overal facility performance.
When he isnt busy at work, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, fly fishing, and hiking.
Mary Sue joined Montague in 2024 as the Administrative Assistant.
Prior to Montague, Mary Sue came from the private sector where she worked as an administrative assistant.
Noah joined The Town of Montague in 2021, where he started as an Operator/Laborer and moved seamlessly into the newly created Laboratory Manager Position. Noah holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hydrogeology from Antioch College. He currently holds a MA State Grade 3M Wastewater License.
Prior to Montague, Noah worked for the City of Greenfield at it's Water Facilities Department.
While on the job, Noah loves everything science! He particularly enjoys looking at the microorganisms that treat wastewater under the microscope.
When he isnt busy at work, Noah enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is a self proclaimed "experimental K-Pop DJ", as well as a professional Fiddler.
Tim joined The Town of Montague in 2012, where he started as an Operator/Laborer and has moved up the ranks becoming Lead Mechanic. He currently holds a MA State Grade 5C Wastewater License.
Prior to wastewater, Tim worked as an industrial mechanic, welder, and machinist.
While on the job, Tim enjoys making new parts for old machines and working on special projects with co-workers.
When he isnt busy at work, Tim enjoys helping his two daughters take care of their horses, family farming, and forestry management.
Sam joined The Town of Montague in 2020, where he started as an Operator/Laborer and has moved into Wastewater Technician, and eventually Lead Operator. He currently holds a MA State Grade 3M Wastewater License, as well as a CDL, Hoisting License, and Osha-10 Safety Certified.
Prior to wastewater, Sam worked for the Town of Northfield as the Maintinance Manager.
While on the job, Sam enjoys construction projects, sitework, carpentry, and collaborating on special projects with co-workers.
When he isnt busy at work, Sam enjoys golfing, family, cats, and is a beer enthusiast visiting the many wonderful local breweries in the region.
Adam joined The Town of Montague in 2019, where he started as an Operator/Laborer and has moved up the ranks becoming Wastewater Tecnician. He currently holds a MA State Grade 3M Wastewater License, as well as a MA Journeyman Plumbing License.
Prior to wastewater, Adam was in the Army as a 92F Fueler, and has owned and operated his own business.
While on the job, Adam enjoys plumbing and construction projects.
When he isnt busy at work, Adam enjoys spending time with his family.
