COLLE REPAIRS AND RENOVATIONS BID 20190314
INVITATION FOR BIDS: The Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) will accept sealed bids on behalf of the Town of Montague for repair and renovations at the Colle Opera Building located at 85 Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA per MGL Ch149. Sealed Bids marked “Colle Building Repair and Renovations IFB20190314” will be received by FRCOG until March 14, 2019 at 2pm. A 5% bid bond and 50% Payment Bond are required. A MANDATORY pre-bid briefing/walk through will be held on site February 20, 2019 at 9am. Please see IFB for notification for Snow Day, if needed. Wage rates for the construction work portion of this bid are subject to prevailing wage rates as per MGL Chapter 149, Section 26 - 27f inclusive and are included in the bid package. Bid specifications must be downloaded from https://frcog.org/bids, and in doing so, all notifications and addenda will be forwarded. The awarding authority is the Town of Montague Selectboard who reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part as they may deem to be in the best public interest.
Invitation for Bids: Rutter's Park Improvement Project
Town of Montague invites sealed bids for Rutter’s Park Improvements - Phase One Project in the Village of Lake Pleasant, Montague, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by GZA GeoEnviromental, Inc. dated January 23, 2019. The Project consists of improvements for a Playground, premanufactured Pavilion, new parking area and other site furnishings and plantings.The work is estimated to cost $ 225,000. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30 §§ 39M and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive and Davis Bacon and shall pay the higher of the two rates. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Town of Montague, through its Select Board is seeking proposals from a consulting firm, practice, or individual with demonstrated expertise in the colonial contact period history and archeology of the Connecticut River Valley to complete the second phase of a site identification and evaluation project for the 1676 battle at Great Falls. The proposal must include the services of an archeologist and military historian who meet the Professional Standards of the National Park Service (NPS) and have specific research experience in King Philip’s War. The project is funded by the American Battlefield Protection Program of the NPS and therefore will be required to meet and follow the NPS Standards and Guidelines for Archeology and Historic Preservation. RFQ - Architectural/Design Services
The Town of Montague invites qualified architectural (or architectural/engineering) firms to submit proposals to provide design services for all phases and construction of the new Department of Public Works Headquarters. All respondents must be able to comply with all of the RFQ requirements and follow all instructions in preparing RFQ responses.
The RFQ guidelines are available on Wednesday, November 14 2018 and may be obtained in the following manner: at Montague Town Offices, Town Administrator’s Office, 1 Avenue A, Turner Falls, MA 01376 or by email request to townadmin@montague-ma.gov.
Complete proposal packages must be received at Town Administrator’s Office, as outlined in the RFQ Documents and above by Wednesday, December 5, 2018 by 2:00 PM EST.

OWNER’S PROJECT MANAGER
PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY PROJECT
The Town of Montague is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, partnerships, or firms to provide Owner’s Project Manager (OPM) services for a Public Works Facility building project. The OPM shall be qualified as described in Mass. General Law Chapter 149, Section 44A ½. The project is to be completed within 18-24 months. Cost of construction is estimated at $8,908,000. This bid will be awarded based on qualifications, with fee to be negotiated.

Attendance is strongly encouraged, but not mandatory. Responses must be submitted to the Montague Selectboard Office no later than Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 2pm.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS(RFP) TOWN OF MONTAGUE DESIGNER SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN AND PERMITTING OF ROADWAY FLOODING PROTECTION AT MONTAGUE CITY ROAD
The Town of Montague invites responses for designer services required for developing bid ready plans and specifications to address seasonal flooding at Montague City Road. Funding for this project is provided by the MA Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs Municipal Vulnerabilities Grant Program, and local funds. Design activities under this contract shall be completed by May 30 2019. The design fee is fixed at forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000.00).

The Town of Montague, Massachusetts through its Board of Selectmen invites proposals from qualified individuals or organizations for the acquisition of a 4,529 square foot parcel (0.1 acre) identified as Assessor’s Map 29 Lot 180. The parcel is flag shaped and has 8 feet of frontage on East Main Street and there are no structures on the parcel. The Town’s desired outcome is to combine the parcel with one of the abutting parcels in a manner that advances the Town’s community development and historic preservation goals for Millers Falls.
